Uri Geller Tweets out Apology Regarding Kadabra Ban

Uri Geller, an illusionist, released a statement earlier today in regards to the Kadabra ban. Geller got into a dispute with Nintendo surrounding Kadabra 20 years ago. Due to such, Kadabra pretty much disappeared from the TCG, and appearances were either limited or avoided within the anime itself. Geller believed that Kadabra was based on him, especially his spoon-bending tricks, and was not notified by the creators themselves. This prompted him to take legal action in 2000 where he requested Pokemon to stop using Kadabra within the TCG. After 20 years, Geller tweeted out a statement mentioning he was releasing the ban and apologized for his actions. You can check out his tweet below.

Kadabra is now free!

Return of PokeVew!

Hello fellow Pokemon trainers and fans!

I started PokeVew a year or so ago, transitioning my old blog to a new format with a better name. I got into blogging at a young age where I was very excited to share new and upcoming Pokemon news and information with fans. Whenever Pokemon news would drop or new info regarding games, the anime, and products would drop, I was on the case. While blogging as a whole hasn't been as popular as it was... a decade ago, I am very much dedicated towards continuing my interests with this and seeing this blog grow (and possibly into a website!).

Moving forward, you can expect a whole lot more from this blog. Ranging from Pokemon news being posted, cool projects detailing information from games, and possibly articles diving deeper into intriguing aspects of the Pokemon world.

If you'd like, be sure to follow the blog so you are notified when a post is made.

Look forward to seeing you around!
