The Popplio community day on Pokemon Go is going live globally and will run from 2 PM to 5 PM local time. During the community day event, players will be able to encounter a shiny Popplio in the wild. Also, evolving Brionne to Primarina during the event will result in Primarina learning the exclusive move, Hydro Cannon.
As reported yesterday, the upcoming season for Pokemon Go, called Max Out, was teased by Niantic. This season focuses on Dynamax Pokemon and will run from September 3rd at 10 am till December 3rd at 10 am local time.
Players will be able to take on Max Battles within certain locations known as Power Spots and catch Dynamax Pokemon, while being able to unlock Max Particles. These Power Spots can be located using the in-game map.
Along with the season's reveal, Ponyta and Galarian Ponyta will be showcased as September's Community Day on September 14th. The October Community Day will be on October 5th, followed by November's Community Day on November 10th. The Pokemon featured are not yet known for these months.
New Themed Stickers can also be unlocked by spinning PokeStops, purchasing from in-game shop, and opening gifts. Additionally, the Go Battle League returns as part of the Max Out season.
By completing Field Research, the player will be able to unlock Research Breakthrough encounters for one of the following Pokemon (with the ability to encounter a Shiny if lucky):
Galarian Weezing
Galarian Mr. Mime
Excadrill
Scraggy
Furfrou
Jangmo-o
As the season progresses, different Pokemon will appear within different locations across the world (with the ability to encounter a Shiny if lucky):
Cities: Gengar, Skitty, Beldum, Scraggy, Trubbish, Furfrou, Lechonk, and more!
Forests: Exeggutor, Chansey, Pinsir, Hoppip, Shroomish, Emolga, Grubbin, and more!
Mountains: Onix, Sudowoodo, Sableye, Aggron, Boldore, Stunfisk, Gollett, and more!
It has been revealed that the next Pokemon Go season will be titled "Max Out" and will available between September 3rd to December 3rd. Niantic did not provide full details about this upcoming season, but the teaser trailer was revealed on YouTube earlier today. This season will feature the theme of Dynamax!

I did not previously make a post about this, but thought I'd go ahead and make a post as there is an on-going 7-star Tera Raid Battle for Normal-Tera type Dragonite in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. This event started on Thursday, August 22 at 5:00 PM PDT and will last until Sunday, September 1st at 4:59 PM PDT.
You can encounter this Dragonite at the black Tera Raid crystals.
Pokemon has just announced the next expansion set for the Scarlet and Violet TCG series, slated to release November 8, 2024.

The Pokemon Center website has just updated to showcase the Pokemon Halloween decoration items for the 2024 year! Known as "POKÉWEEN," there are various figures, garden items, kitchen items, clothes, posters, puzzles, and mugs showcased on the website.
Today at the Gamescom 2024, Pokemon-branded microSD cards were revealed. These cards are designed for the Nintendo Switch and come in 3 varieties: 256 GB at $32.99 (featuring Pikachu), 512 GB at $54.99 (featuring Gengar), and 1 TB at $129.99 (featuring Snorlax).
These microSD cards have up to 100 MB/s read speed and up to 90 MB/s write speeds.
